The Twentieth Sunday after TRINITY
There is
no TRUE rest outside in CHRISTIAN LIFE, the soul that loves GOD cannot be
satisfied with anything less than this.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and
lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the
heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Ps 46:10
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself
because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth
wicked devices to pass.
Ps 37:7
GOD wants
us to rest in Him..
To
understand the GOD’s will, You must have faith when you ask Him to teach you
His will n He will direct your step..
And no man
hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of
man which is in heaven.
14 And as
Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be
lifted up:
15 That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God
so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God
sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
18 He that
believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God.
John
3:13-18
For as
many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the
Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it and God doeth it, that men
should fear before him.
15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath

16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that
wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the
wicked for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of
men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves
are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts;
even one thing befalleth them as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they
have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast for all is
vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to
dust again.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the
spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that
a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion for who shall
bring him to see what shall be after him?
Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
To receive
Knowledge we need to study the words of GOD, to receive understanding we need to believe
in the Gospel of CHRIST n for Wisdom, ask n Pray to Almighty GOD..
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good
understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for
ever.
Ps 111:10
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth
understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of
silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou
canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand
riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are
peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and
happy is every one that retaineth her.
Proverbs 3:13-18
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to
all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:5
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments
with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine
heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice
for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for

5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the
knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD giveth wisdom out of his mouth cometh knowledge
and understanding.

8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of

darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the
wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths
16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the
stranger which flattereth with her words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the
covenant of her God.
18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the
dead.
19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of
the paths of life.
20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the
paths of the righteous.
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect
shall remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the
transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
Proverbs 2:1-22
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of
wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of
knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isaiah 11:2
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the
knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,

gives us the general sense of right n wrong, The Spirit gives us guidance what
pleases GOD n what does not..
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt
go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from
the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as
wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will
of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled
with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father

Ephesians 5:1-20
We are the
Blessed Children of GOD. When we Pray our Loving FATHER hears more than we say
n gives more than we could ever ask. We can talk to GOD n GOD to us
For ye are
all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were
not worthy.
9 Go ye
therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So
those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as
they found, both bad and good and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And
when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a
wedding garment
12 And he
saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment?
And he was speechless.
13 Then
said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and
cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For
many are called, but few are chosen.
Matthew
22:1-14
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
