Romans 8:31-39
"Nothing can
separate us from the Love of God"
In the previous blog we studied about the parable
of Rich man and Lazarus and today we study about how Lazarus became righteous
without doing anything! No, my friends! He did what God expect from all of us, HE TRUSTED GOD with all his heart. We see that his circumstances was unfavorable, he was sick, he didn't have
food, home or anything.. Instead of being disappointed, he keep trusting Him, praying and gave glory to Him more and more each passing day. That’s his quality that makes him righteous in God's eyes.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust
in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In
all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” ,
Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will
be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou
walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee.”,
Psalm 56:3 “What
time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” The great parable
of Grace n judgment of God.
Lazarus obtain God’s mercy, how can we have it? Not by righteous
deeds, good works.. if we could be saved by righteous deeds and good works,
then righteousness would have been based on the law and Christ would not have
needed to die! Then what should we do? First we have to accept that we're
sinners. Even infants are also sinner because of “original sin”. “The original
sin” that Adam and eve did, disobeying God. So our good work, righteous deeds
didn't makes us righteous because we are born in sin but our faith on Almighty God
n His son Jesus Christ n the Holy Spirit. We must not get confused between the
works of the Law and the works of faith. One cannot earn Salvation by the “deeds
of the law” don’t be self-righteous. Romans
3:20 “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no
flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” n Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds
of the law
In the book of James we
get the good description of righteous deeds “the body without
the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” and what is those righteous work that we should do? we'll discuss it below..
James 2:14-26 “What doth it profit, my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of
daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be
ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are
needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being
alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have
works shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my
works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest
well the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without
works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when
he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by
works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith,
Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness and he was
called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified,
and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by
works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so
faith without works is dead also.”

No one is worthy to enter The KINGDOM of GOD on the basis of good works n self-righteousness, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 But because of GOD’s great love for us, He has given us new birth into a living hope through our LORD n SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16We are made right with GOD by placing our faith in JESUS CHRIST. “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
Romans 3:22-26
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Almighty GOD, who is rich in mercy, made us free from the all sins n the power of death through the blood of CHRIST “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”2 Corinthians 5:21,
"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2, ".....But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:18-23,Hebrews 2:13-15, GOD has removed our sins from us forever"And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more." Hebrews 10:17that whoever believes n is baptized in His name, GOD gave them the right to become children of GOD; n they will be saved. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 Then the Righteous will shine like the sun in the KINGDOM of FATHER GOD.
All praise to GOD, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST."And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land." Zechariah 9:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

The KINGDOME of GOD is the rule of an Eternal, Sovereign GOD over all the universe.. Daniel said that “The GOD of HEAVEN will set up a KINGDOM that will never be destroyed”

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13–14
The LORD has established His throne in HEAVEN, n his KINGDOM rules over all” Psalm 103:19.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
MATTHEW 6:10
The KINGDOM of GOD is a spiritual rule over the hearts n lives of those who willingly submit to GOD YHWH’s authority."For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Ephesians 5:5 indicates that The KINGDOM of GOD also belongs to JESUS CHRIST; that is, it is also The KINGDOM of CHRIST JESUS. Those who refuse to submit to Him are not part of the KINGDOM of GOD, “Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”1 Corinthians 6:10, “Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:21 say that the unrighteous cannot inherit the Kingdom of GOD. People who acknowledge the Lordship of CHRIST, receive HIM as The LORD n Saviour n gladly surrender to YHWH GOD, are become member of the KINGDOM of GOD. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
Both “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:24 n “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”1 Corinthians 15:50 tell us that The KINGDOM of GOD will include Life Eternal – our ETERNAL HOME in HEAVEN. “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:”
Philippians 3:20
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of GOD is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The KINGDOM of GOD is spiritual—JESUS said HIS KINGDOM was not of this world n HE preached that repentance is necessary to be a part of the KINGDOM of GOD n JESUS says the KINGDOM of GOD must be entered into by being born again (Baptism).
As followers of CHRIST, we receive anointing in token (HOLY SPIRIT) “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you…” Ezekiel 36:26 of our true adoption as sons of GOD; through baptism both by water n by The SPIRIT we become Christians, "Anointed Ones". “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”2 Corinthians 1:21-22.We were sealed in Him with the HOLY SPIRIT of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:13–14 (see Ephesians 1:1-17 )
Baptism is a new birth, a release from the bondage of sin n power of death; Sealed by The HOLY GHOST to the Day of Redemption, we become a member of JESUS’s body (CHURCH).
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:5
JESUS answered, My KINGDOM is not of this world: if my KINGDOM were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my KINGDOM not from hence.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation 21:1-27
CHRIST JESUS, who will return to Earth one day n rule over the whole Earth from Jerusalem "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one." Zechariah 14:9 n (Church) Christians will reign with Him in the earthly KINGDOM (during the millennium); “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6. There will be a big attitude difference between the JESUS's first coming as the gentle Lamb of GOD n His Second Coming as the warrior KING, the Lion of Judah:
And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
Obadiah 1:21
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:14
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
Revelation 19:16
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 25:31-34
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14
And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:2
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zechariah 14:9
Nothing on earth is perfect. Even the most beautiful things of this world are flawed; if we look closely enough, we can always find an imperfection. But CHRIST is truly perfect. He is HOLY, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the HEAVEN, n our inheritance in Him is also HOLY, blameless, exalted, n pure. No earthly corruption or weakness can touch what GOD has bestowed.
This HEAVENLY heritage is GOD’s purpose n will for us.
For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Romans 4:13
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Galatians 3:6
Blessings of Abraham..
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Genesis 22:17–18
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Revelation 21:24–27
JESUS CHRIST is GOD’s “Firstborn”/ “Firstfruit” Son that is, JESUS holds the “birthright” and is the heir of all the Father has GOD has given CHRIST all of creation as a gift, because all was created for Him. The inheritance that CHRIST receives includes believers, those whom the Father has given to the Son.
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
John 3:35

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

We receive the promise of our inheritance by hearing the word of truth n believing in CHRIST. As GOD’s children, "adopted" into His family, we have been assured an inheritance from our HEAVENLY FATHER. We are “heirs” of GOD, n “co-heir of CHRIST”
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Romans 8:17
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Galatians 4:7
Our inheritance in CHRIST is reserved. What we have in CHRIST is being "kept" in HEAVEN for us. Your crown of glory has your name on it. Although we enjoy many blessings as children of GOD here on earth, our true inheritance—our true home—is reserved for us in HEAVEN.
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Ephesians 1:11
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
Psalms 37:29
Our inheritance in CHRIST is unfading. JESUS prayed for us (His followers), "Holy FATHER, protect them by the power of your name" John 17:11 We are secure, being guarded by the Almighty Himself, n surely our inheritance is equally secure. No one can steal it from us. When we understand and value the glory that awaits us, we are better able to endure whatever comes our way in this life. We can give GOD praise even during trials because we have His guarantee that we will receive all He has promised: Remember -- “He will wipe every tear from their eyes…” Revelation 21:4 n Isaiah 25:8, 51:11
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Jeremiah 17:5-10 “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
Romans 6:17-23
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Psalm 23 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Psalm 121 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 He said unto them, Give place for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

We all sinned n deserve GOD’s judgment, but our loving FATHER, GOD sent HIS only begotten SON to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in HIM. JESUS, our LORD who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that HE died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buries n rose from the dead according to the Holy Bible. If you truly believe n trust in your heart, receiving JESUS alone as your SAVIOUR, declaring (by Baptism) JESUS is The LORD n SAVIOUR, you will be SAVED from the judgment n spend ETERNITY with GOD in HEAVEN….
