The LORD's Supper
The Twenty-Second Sunday after TRINITY
GOD so loved the world... –John 3:16
Blood of CHRIST JESUS brings forgiveness of sins. Salvation
comes through HIM n the sacrifice of HIS physical body on the cross made us
RIGHTEOUSS in The GOD’s eyes.
Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But
with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without
spot:
1 Peter
1:18-19
And Jesus
said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never
hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:35
Neither by
the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Hebrews
9:12
And almost
all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is
no remission.
Hebrews
9:22
And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and
they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation
12:11
Purge out
therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For
even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1
Corinthians 5:7
Ye know
that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is
betrayed to be crucified.
Matthew
26:2
I beseech
you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans
12:1
Neither is
there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
In whom we
have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians
1:14
This is
the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not
die.
51 I am
the living bread which came down from heaven if any man eat of this bread, he
shall live for ever and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world.
52 The
Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his
flesh to eat?
53 Then
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh
of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
John
6:51-55
In whom we
have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of his grace;
Ephesians
1:7
Everyone who has faith in CHRIST JESUS will be SAVED.
The next
day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which
taketh away the sin of the world.
John 1:29
And all
that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the
book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation
13:8
As a symbolized by the original Passover sacrifice in the Old
Covenant, CHRIST’s death Atones for the sins of us, HIS blood rescues us from
the death.. (As the
system of Passover sacrifice, HIS bones were not broken.)
For if the
blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh
14 How
much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the
living God?
Hebrews
9:13-14
For these
things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall
not be broken.
John 19:36
He keepeth
all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Ps 34:20
Purge out
therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For
even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1
Corinthians 5:7
JESUS is the fulfilment of the law, including the feast of the
Passover.
JESUS
said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not
come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
Matthew
5:17
On The day of The Last Supper, JESUS commanded Holy Communion as remembrance of HIS death n what HE was about to do on behalf of all
mankind shed HIS blood on the cross thereby paying the dept. of our sins.
The Bread which represents JESUS’ body that was scourged n
broken before n during HIS crucifixion, The Cup of wine which represents HIS
shed blood.
And he
took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is
my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Luke 22:19
For I have
received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus
the same night in which he was betrayed took bread
24 And
when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat this is my body,
which is broken for you this do in remembrance of me.
25 After
the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is
the new testament in my blood this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance
of me.
26 For as
often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till
he come.
27
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord,
unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let
a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he
that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself,
not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For
this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if
we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But
when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be
condemned with the world.
33
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
1
Corinthians 11:23-33
Then Jesus
said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the
Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso
eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him
up at the last day.
55 For my
flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that
eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the
living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father so he that eateth me, even
he shall live by me.
58 This is
that bread which came down from heaven not as your fathers did eat manna, and
are dead he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These
things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
John
6:53-59 (See also Mark 14:22-25, Matthew 26:26-29)
Today’s The LORD’s Supper is when believers reflect upon CHRIST’s
perfect sacrifice n know that, though our faith in receiving HIM forever.
For I say
unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God
shall come.
Luke 22:18
Behold, I
stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I
will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation
3:20
Now the
first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying
unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
18 And he
said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My
time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
19 And the
disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
20 Now
when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
21 And as
they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 And
they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him,
Lord, is it I?
23 And he
answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall
betray me.
24 The Son
of man goeth as it is written of him but woe unto that man by whom the Son of
man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
25 Then
Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto
him, Thou hast said.
26 And as
they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it
to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he
took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For
this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission
of sins.
29 But I
say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that
day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
30 And
when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
Matthew
26:17-30 (See also Mark 14:12-26, Luke 22:7-30, John 6:50-71)
Baptism is required before a person can receive HOLY COMMUNION.
There was
a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews
2 The same
came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a
teacher come from God for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except
God be with him.
3 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the
second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus
answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That
which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit.
7 Marvel
not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind
bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not
tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth so is every one that is born of the
Spirit.
9
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these
things?
11 Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen;
and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I
have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I
tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no
man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son
of man which is in heaven.
14 And as
Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be
lifted up
15 That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God
so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God
sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
18 He that
believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God.
19 And
this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved
darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For
every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest
his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he
that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that
they are wrought in God.
John 3:1-21
HIS blood made us cleansed from all sins
By whom we
have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all
nations, for his name:
6 Among
whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
Romans 1:5
For this
is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of
sins.
Matthew
26:28
Neither by
the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Hebrews
9:12
But if we
walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we
say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John
1:7-9
For unto
you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also
to suffer for his sake;
Philippians
1:29
And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven.
Colossians
1:20
JESUS’s loving instruction is that we are to remember HIS sacrifice
as partake of the Holy Communion. JESUS wanted us conscious of how HIS body was
broken for our wholeness n HIS blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins n
whenever we partake in this consciousness we proclaim The LORD’s death till HE
COMES.
Wherefore,
holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High
Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Hebrews
3:1
For as
often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death
till he come.

riches of his grace;
Ephesians

if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
2
Corinthians 5:17
My little
children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
For I will
be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will
I remember no more.

8:12
Forbearing
one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:
even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Colossians
3:13
And when
ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also
which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:25
And I will
cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and
I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they
have transgressed against me.
Jeremiah
33:8
I, even I,
am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not
remember thy sins.
Isaiah
43:25
Blessed is
he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed
is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there
is no guile.
Ps 32:1-2
JESUS’s sacrifice of HIMSELF made it possible to take away the
sins of the world - Passover lamb –
N so we can reunite with GOD with the help of The HOLY SPIRIT,
our comforter – helper.
But the
Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he
shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26
GOD’s Spirit serve as a guarantee or down payment on our promise
INHERITANCE of Eternal Life in GOD’s family.
In whom ye
also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy
Spirit of promise,
14 Which
is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,
unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians
1:13-14
Of which
salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of
the grace that should come unto you:
11
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them
did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the
glory that should follow.
1 Peter
1:10-11
For it
became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing
many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.

eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Hebrews
8:6

therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of
the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which
are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Colossians
2:16-17
To enjoy fellowship with GOD, we must not only know that we have
been forgiven of all sin but we must also know that we are made Righteous,
which is acceptable to ALMIGHTY GOD.
GOD provide a perfect Righteousness for us; We cannot produce it
by our own efforts; It’s a free gift. JESUS
CHRIST is our Righteousness..
We are saved by grace of GOD through faith in CHRIST JESUS..
And
Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so
they went both of them together.
Genesis
22:8
But of him
are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption:
1
Corinthians 1:30
I will
greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath
clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of
righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride
adorneth herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10
For he
hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
2
Corinthian 5:21
For if by
one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance
of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus
Christ.)
Romans
5:17
Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge
of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and
do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be
found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that
which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by
faith:
Philippians
3:8-9
And heal
the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh
unto you.
John 10:9
In his
days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name
whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jeremiah
23:6
JESUS CHRIST’s sacrifice for all humanity, which fulfilled the
symbolism of the yearly sin offering on the Day of Atonement-Passover n He set down at the right side of GOD. HE became
the HIGH PRIEST.
And having
an high priest over the house of God;
Hebrews
10:21
Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who
is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Hebrews
8:1
But this
man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the
right hand of God;
Hebrews
10:12
So also
Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto
him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
Hebrews5:5
Whither
the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever
after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews
6:20
Seeing
then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
Hebrews
4:14
For such
an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from
sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Hebrews
7:26
CHRIST’s sacrifice n HIS continuing role as our HIGH PRIEST
helps us to develop a close relationship with THE FATHER GOD.
And all the saved (Saints) become the priest, who are to carry
on the daily task of the ministry of JESUS. As a Priest of NEW
COVENANT/TESTAMENT we all have free access to The FATHER.
And hath
made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation
1:6
And hast
made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Revelation
5:10
But ye are
a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness
into his marvellous light:
1 Peter
2:9
Seeing
then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we
have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us
therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and
find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews
4:14-16
CHRIST also filled the role of the High Priest by offering
HIMSELF, HE continue to serve as our High Priest, interacting on our behalf.
And they
truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason
of death
24 But
this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by
him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For
such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from
sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who
needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his
own sins, and then for the people's for this he did once, when he offered up
himself.
28 For the
law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath,
which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Hebrews
7:23-28
Under a NEW COVENAT, CHRIST does not serve in a physical
tabernacle
But Christ
being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect
tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Hebrews
9:11
For Christ
is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of
the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us
25 Nor yet
that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy
place every year with blood of others;
26 For
then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world but now once
in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of
himself.
27 And as
it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
28 So
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for
him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hebrews
9:24-28
Instead of HE promise HIS duties as High
Priest in the TRUE TEBERNACLE (We are/Church)
Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who
is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A
minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched,
and not man.
Hebrews
8:1-2
Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the
saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being
the chief corner stone;
21 In whom
all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord
22 In whom
ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians
2:19-22
JESUS has already made Atonement for our sins..
Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who
is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A
minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched,
and not man.
Hebrews
8:1-2
HE rebukes evil..
I charge
thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick
and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Timothy
4:1
HE declares the will of GOD..
Hath in
these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all
things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Hebrews
1:2
HE judge our thoughts n ways..
Neither is
there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked
and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do
Hebrews
4:13
HE represent us..
For Christ
is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of
the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Hebrews
9:24
HE will soon RETURN to bless us with an Everlasting Inheritance..
So Christ
was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hebrews
9:28
We, member of CHRIST’s body (Church) are able to draw near to
the true Mercy seat – THE THRONE OF GOD.
And for
this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for
the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they
which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews
9:15
That being
justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of
eternal life.
Titus 3:7
Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a
new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is
to say, his flesh;
21 And
having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us
draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews
10:19-22
Wherefore
in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might
be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews
2:17
Hebrews
4:14-18
NEW Covenant
Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel, and with the house of Judah
32 Not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took
them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they
brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD
33 But
this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After
those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write
it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And
they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,
saying, Know the LORD for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto
the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I
will remember their sin no more.
Jeremiah

spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Hebrews 8:6-8
After the
same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the
new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of
me.

Corinthians 11:25
But now we
are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we
should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Romans 7:6

therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of

17 Which
are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:5

JESUS CHRIST is our High Priest for forever..
The LORD
hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of
Melchizedek.
Ps 110:4
Wherefore,
holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High
Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Hebrews
3:1
As he
saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of
Melchisedec.
Hebrews
5:6
But this
man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the
right hand of God;
Hebrews
10:12
Hebrews
4:12-19
Even he
shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit
and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the
counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Zechariah
6:13
JESUS’ blood gives us right to standing before GOD n we can go
boldly into GOD’s presence.
Let us
therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and
find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews
4:16
Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Hebrews
10:19
JESUS promise us Eternal life n gives us helper (HOLY GHOST) to
guide us on right path
And when
the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one
place.
2 And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And
there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each
of them.
4 And they
were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as
the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:1-4
JESUS taught the principles of servant-hood n forgiveness as HE
washed HIS disciple’s feet.
Now before
the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he
should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which
were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
2 And
supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot,
Simon's son, to betray him;
3 Jesus
knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was
come from God, and went to God;
4 He
riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded
himself.
5 After
that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and
to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
6 Then
cometh he to Simon Peter and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my
feet?
7 Jesus
answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know
hereafter.
8 Peter
saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash
thee not, thou hast no part with me.
9 Simon
Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
10 Jesus
saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean
every whit and ye are clean, but not all.
11 For he
knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
12 So
after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down
again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13 Ye call
me Master and Lord and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I
then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one
another's feet.
15 For I
have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he
that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 If ye
know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
John
13:1-17
But ye
shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger;
and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 For
whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that
sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
Luke
22:26-27
~~
I thank my
God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always
in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your
fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being
confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ
7 Even as
it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart;
inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the
gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God
is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 And this
I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all
judgment;
10 That ye
may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without
offence till the day of Christ;
11 Being
filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the
glory and praise of God.
Philippians
1:3-11
~~
Then came
Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I
forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus
saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times but, Until seventy times
seven.
23
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take
account of his servants.
24 And
when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten
thousand talents.
25 But
forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his
wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The
servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience
with me, and I will pay thee all.
27 Then
the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave
him the debt.
28 But the
same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an
hundred pence and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay
me that thou owest.
29 And his
fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience
with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he
would not but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
31 So when
his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told
unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then
his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I
forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me
33
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had
pity on thee?
34 And his
lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all
that was due unto him.
35 So
likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts
forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Matthew
18:21-35
