Isaiah 42:1-11
Behold my servant, whom I
uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him
he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up,
nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed shall he not
break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench he shall bring forth judgment
unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be
discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth and the isles shall wait
for his law.
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he
that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the
earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people
upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein
6 I the LORD have called thee in
righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for
a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to
bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of
the prison house.
8 I am the LORD that is my name
and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
9 Behold, the former things are
come to pass, and new things do I declare before they spring forth I tell you
of them.

Psalm 36:5-11
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the
heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the
great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep O LORD, thou preservest man and
beast.
7 How excellent is thy
lovingkindness, O God! therefore the
children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly
satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the
river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain
of life in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness
unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride
come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

Hebrews 9:11-15
But Christ being come an high
priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not
made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats
and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and
of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the
purifying of the flesh
14 How much more shall the blood
of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the
mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of
the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called
might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

John 12:1-11
Then Jesus six days before the
passover came to Bethany
2 There they made him a supper;
and Martha served but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
3 Then took Mary a pound of
ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped
his feet with her hair and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
4 Then saith one of his
disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
5 Why was not this ointment sold
for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6 This he said, not that he
cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what
was put therein.
7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone
against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
8 For the poor always ye have
with you; but me ye have not always.
9 Much people of the Jews
therefore knew that he was there and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but
that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 But the chief priests
consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11 Because that by reason of him
many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
